Coordinating Groups

The National Emergency Management Agency manages a number of coordinating groups. These represent clusters of agencies and organisations that coordinate and oversee different aspects of emergency management.

National Welfare Coordination Group ›

The National Welfare Coordination Group (NWCG) represents a national-level cluster of agencies that are collectively responsible for providing strategic oversight of planning and development of integrated welfare services delivered in an emergency.

National Recovery Coordination Group ›

The National Recovery Coordination Group (NRCG) is a permanent standing group chaired by the National Recovery Manager. It is comprised of key central government agencies that coordinate and oversee central government recovery activities.
