National Exercises
The National Emergency Management Agency leads national civil defence emergency management exercises.
National exercises are supported by Civil Defence Emergency Management Groups and relevant government agencies, emergency services, lifeline utilities and other support organisations.
Exercising is a core part of readiness and helps identify gaps and issues. The identified lessons are integrated into plans and procedures. They improve our ability to respond to and recover from emergencies.
